Ride to Independence: More Than a Motorcycle Ride—A Community Commitment to Our Veterans

Published by Serenity Path Network LLC

Every mile tells a story.

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, Serenity Path Network LLC will proudly host the First Annual Ride to Independence, a charity motorcycle ride created to bring our community together in support of veterans working toward stable housing, independence, and a brighter future.

The Ride to Independence isn't just about motorcycles. It's about honoring those who served our country, raising awareness about the challenges many veterans face after military service, and inspiring our community to be part of the solution.

Whether you're an experienced rider, a first-time participant, a veteran, a local business owner, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, you're invited to join us. A location is being secured and will be announced soon!

Why We Created the Ride to Independence

At Serenity Path Network, we believe that every veteran deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, and hope.

Many veterans face challenges such as housing instability, financial hardship, unemployment, or difficulty navigating the transition to civilian life. While every journey is different, having a strong community of support can make a lasting impact.

The Ride to Independence was created to:

  • Raise awareness of the needs of local veterans
  • Support the Veterans Path to Independence Program
  • Bring together veterans, riders, businesses, and community leaders
  • Celebrate military service and sacrifice
  • Build partnerships that strengthen our community
  • Raise funds to help expand supportive independent living opportunities for veterans

This event is a celebration of service, resilience, and community.

Supporting the Veterans Path to Independence Program

Proceeds from the Ride to Independence help support Serenity Path Network's Veterans Path to Independence Program.

Our program focuses on helping veterans build a strong foundation through:

  • Safe and affordable supportive housing
  • Life skills development
  • Budgeting and financial education
  • Employment support
  • Community resource referrals
  • Goal planning
  • Encouragement and accountability

We believe that housing is only the beginning. Lasting independence comes from having the skills, confidence, and support needed to move forward.

What to Expect at the Event

The Ride to Independence offers something for everyone—not just motorcycle enthusiasts.

Participants can enjoy:

  • A scenic guided motorcycle ride through beautiful Alamance County
  • Opening ceremony honoring our veterans
  • Veteran guest speakers
  • Food vendors
  • Local business vendors
  • Community organizations
  • Sponsor exhibits
  • Family-friendly atmosphere
  • Opportunities to learn about veteran resources

Our goal is to create an event that celebrates our veterans while bringing the entire community together.

Community Partnerships Make a Difference

This event would not be possible without the support of local businesses, volunteers, sponsors, and community organizations.

When businesses sponsor the Ride to Independence, they demonstrate a commitment to those who have served our country while helping expand resources for veterans in our community.

Community partnerships allow us to grow our impact far beyond a single day.
